Production is processed completely in the company's own mill, so the entire transformation cycle is controlled in-house — guaranteeing the quality and reliability of Made in Italy. The production machinery and quality-control equipment are among the most advanced available: Filati Buratti was one of the first companies in Europe to equip its laboratory with the USTER TESTER 5 device.
Production serves the worldwide market and is used by the best manufacturers of fabrics for clothing as well as home interiors.
Filati Buratti S.p.A. was founded at the beginning of the last century by Costantino Buratti and his brothers Virgilio and Vittorio, who developed the business through the 1960s. It continued with Filippo Buratti — Costantino's son — through the 70s, 80s, and 90s, and today the company is fully managed by his son Federico and his team, on a 20,000-square-meter production facility in Biella with a complete processing cycle: from raw materials purchased directly at source from the best producers, through spinning, to an extensive range of natural and dyed yarns.
